The guy was broke down and after the chopper took him away. I repaired his boat and Bear drove it back to the ramp and got it on the trailer for the guys son. "No Airboater Left Behind" that our motto!

Mag was really weak (dirty/oily points). and they had it flooded. I cleaned the points a little and hit it with some starting fluid and presto, we were on the way to the ramp. We made it before they even left the ramp with his dad on the chopper.

Cool. Hard to beat a can of starting fluid for a lot of stuff.

Yep, it will definatly help a weak mag and get you back to the ramp. I would have torn it apart for a front deck rebuild if neccessary but the guy was pretty worried about his dad, so I just got him going and back to the ramp.
