Re: Fuel pump, electrical or mechanical?

That's all it is. A regular old marine style primer bulb that mounts inline. So simple it sounds stupid but it works. They can be had at most auto parts stores here in North Florida and just about every Walmart I've ever been in had some. I don't know that one brand is any better than another. But I...

Re: Fuel pump, electrical or mechanical?

I run a facet and simply put a primer bulb inline between it and the tank. Works like a charm. Really cheap and really fast.

Stupid as F**K if they didn't see the camera that took those pictures. Jeez. I sure hope someone recognizes them. Hell, report it to FWC and see where that takes you. Who knows?

Re: Weekly ride on orange lake?

Thanks. I have to work then or I'd be in for sure. Last Sunday, I made that exact ride you are going to do. I really, really enjoyed it and met some great new friends and renewed some really old friendships as well. Salt Springs ramp was NUTZ in the afternoon though. The poor woman running the ramp ...

Re: Weekly ride on orange lake?

Thanks for trying to help me this morning. Still haven't figured out what gremlin kept the ol' girl from starting. Got home and she fired right up on the first push and purred like a cat this afternoon. Oh well. :dontknow: I hope ya'll enjoyed your ride. There was some nice looking boats w...

Whoever told you that, you should never, NEVER ever listen to any of their advice on airboats again.

Any old GPS will do. They all talk to the same satellites. If you need to stare at a screen to follow breadcumbs back then you are missing out on a lot.

Re: gardner's marsh ridable?

Went on Friday afternoon with couple guys I met who were on a jam up 400 SBC on a renegade hull. We made it all the way through from North Cove to the little sandy cut between Sheep Hammock and the yacht club. The trails are pretty spotty with not much in them until you get to the road crossing. Aft...

Re: gardner's marsh ridable?

I read somewhere just a couple days ago that the inside trails round the lakes had water in them again and the marsh was ridable for the most part.

Electronic Ignition Questions

Its time for me to get my Mag's worked on again. I'm thinking about going electronic instead but have some questions. I saw the old threads about it. Is Pacemaker still the one to use? If not who else is out there? Who does/can do the install? Based on what I've read I'm not sure I want to tackle it...

Dry. Overall that is. Might be some puddles but you'd better have a good boat and be willing to work it.

Had a fun time Jeff. Thanks for meeting us. We sure had a fun time even though it was a quick turnaround.

Scarecrow, No water at the entrances. I didn't go but a couple hundred yards in either way just to see and it was dry.

I ended up getting it welded here in town. The guy did a bang up job for $20. Thanks for the suggestions.

In case any one else is looking for any of these sumps and sees this, Lacey Everett has a couple.

Re: Lake George Ramps

So I went on the FWC Boat ramp mapper and I see Volusia Bar road but there's no ramp listed. Is it just all the way at the end of the road?

The one at Blue Lake Rd was the one I used.
