Love the conduit bends in the cage. That looks so much better than when they cut short pieces instead. Good work!

Re: WENT BACK TO LAKE CYPRESS TODAY

Yes, you can still use the ramp. The ramp is located just west of where Canoe Creek crosses the Turnpike south of St. Cloud. The ramp does get full at times because a large number of kicker boats use the ramp. Any length of time restrictions on parking? Thinking of doing some camping on the lake du...

So what's the scoop with the boat ramp? Can you still use it? How crowded does it get?

Friend went to camp this weekend and said water is getting skinny. Won't be long now and it'll be too dry to go.

Re: lower shrouds on corvair engine

My old man and uncles ran corvair boats in the late 70's and early 80's and I'm not sure they ran any shrouds?! I also don't remember any cooling issues either. They had one on a 10x6 deck over and the other on an 11x7 gore. The one on the deck over had the 4 1 barrel carbs, but we could never get t...

Painting Question

I have an 05' Diamondback that is starting to fade a bit on the deck and walkboards. My hull is not painted on the sides, the only coloring I have is the bow, the foot stands for the passenger and driver and the walkboards. They are painted in this non-skid stuff that has held up great in 11 years, ...

Re: Duck hunting southern glades ? Anyone?

I've grown up hunting ducks on Lake O and in the northern part of the state all my life and I've never understood how people hunt the glades. How do you concentrate the ducks? We always look for pockets and natural feeding areas for the ducks. Seems like that's all the glades are! I'd be interested ...

Went down this past Friday and while it was a beautiful ride, there was 1 VERY disturbing issue with our trip. Once we got out of any noticeable cypress, we saw very little wildlife. I noticed it early on, but did not say anything until later into our trip. We saw 1 osprey once we reached the mangro...

I live in Ozello and there's no fight as of now. Dep did put the rock in our air boat crossing by salt River bridge but within 2 days a new trail was made to go around it. Nothing else has been said about it. Also the real fight in Ozello needs to be with kayakers , they to should be required to ha...

I have my cruise #'s in the 33-3600 range w/just me in the boat, 14x7.5 Diamondback w/ZZ4 350/355 hp SBC. WOT is right at 5100 RPM's. I've been told that's on the mark for what my boat should do, but according to one post on here sounds like my motor won't last long. What are the cruise numbers I sh...
