Steve, not sure what you saw, but its not very big and not boat friendly. Big enough for 3 or 4 canoes wide and less than a 1/4 mile long. Fun to take a canoe early am and go swimming though.

You'll learn to give it the right amount of rudder to help with it, but hp and big blades are gonna twist lol.

I am not familiar with powerpoles at all, but if it is hydraulic any truck place or hydraulic house can more than likely make you a new hose. Probably not until Tuesday though lol.
