He was a great person and family friend. He helped teach me to weld and always helped us out when we needed it. He will be sorely missed.

Prayers sent to all families involved. I've been hearing it all over the radio. It's sad to hear news like that.

My heart truly breaks hearing upon hearing this tragedy. I will never forget Russell’s kindness and laughter. I pray that God will hold up and strengthen the Larkin’s family in this difficult time. I believe there are a father and son giving each other a great big hug in Heaven today. May we all have the peace that this life is temporary compared to the eternal life waiting for us.

Our hearts, too, are broken for the loss of a good person, good family person, friend, Gladesman and
so many more adjectives that each of us will use to describe him.

Prayers to the family and those whose lives he touched so deeply.

Russell.... your kindnes, selflessness and relentless love of the Everglades will be remembered for the next generation. Thru this tragedy a bit of your likemindedness will never pass. The great effort you and Carla have made in life will live on for generations to come. As a friend who recently got to know Russell , I cannot imagine the family and the club's loss. Though these words may be just that, I will do whatever possible to aid in recovering from this untimely passing.

My deepest sincere condolences : GOD BLESS
LIVING FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR EVERGLADES..
