KRVSA Freedom Ride Pics and Thanks to all that came

Postby HuntingBigun » Tue Feb 21, 2017 10:53 am

KRVSA Freedom Ride 2017 is in the books as the largest event we had so far, great to see boats from as far as Texas make the trip for our ride. We served over 400 sausages, sold over 400 shirts and just had outstanding time. We filled the shoreline at Miles Point far as you could see and lot boats were at the RIdge, Bus & Polluted waters

So KRVSA thanks all that came and we get to planning next event

Here is a link for some pics I shot

I sat down to eat lunch and met a couple that dragged thier Diamondback from Minnesota. They live on a lake/river system with plenty of marsh to slide in. I asked them if they get complaints about the boat noise and they said yes , until they take the folks for a ride. Lol!!
No more complaints after that.
Awesome to see people from elsewhere taking part in what we enjoy 365 days a year.
Thanks to KRVSA for putting on great event!!!
Well done :proud:

Thanks for the pics . We were there. We are from Pa.My wife grandson and I have made our second migration down to this event. I love the.., What I call, dust offs.... When some one leaves...Its,... OK ,I'll see you later....everyone near there holds on to there stuff....Hammer Down an angry 6 cyl A.C.boat throttles up... out from under the trees..... across some grass and out into the lake....No effort...And then some LS powered comfortable cruiser... with fuel injection... some sick counter rotaitor gear box ^blades going diffrent directions...Air brush paint job... impressive sound system... and all the stuff...does a simmilar dust off with 4 adults and 2 kids.....Where else could you see anything like this.
Good Times Thanks K.R.V.S.A for putting on such a cool event
The glass is always half full....til I get a hold of it

RickMc,

You have every authority to give them a stearn go to hell look if you get prop washed horribly. Sometimes its gonna happen especially if they get stuck getting off the grass, but still not polite to get blasted.

Yes its the kettle calling the pot black as I prop washed a few folks that weekend, but I am still learning where my midget boat gets stuck and doesnt and sometimes I power too hard in certain locations.

Just curious for planning, is the ride always the 3rd weekend of February?? Went this year for the first time and had a blast but felt we really need 2 days to ride and enjoy. Definitely in for next year.
