Is that from an external source ??

I always stuff them in my gallery on SA then use the properties address from the full size picture in the post.

Wow JD, another Mac user! Does Plum know? LOL

Change your avatar pic in the User Control Panel
ucp.php

On the left, the second choice down, PROFILE
Then see the avatar settings in that sub list.
ucp.php?i=profile&mode=avatar
Maybe that direct link will save you some seeking.

matt.

P.S. hardest part about the avatar pic is that it needs to be less than 13k (I think)
But a cool shortcut around that is to upload the pic you want to use to the SA gallery, and then copy the link for the THUMBNAIL instead of the main photo.

Thanks Mood....the small file size is what confused me in the past and I haven't tried to tackle that yet. I'll work on getting Plum over to a Mac...it didn't take much to get him a laptop and on SA but I refuse to be held accountable for that!!!! Once you go Mac....you never go back!!!! :D :D :D

Maximum avatar sizes these days are:

width & height: 125x125 pixels
file size: 14k

Jody, if you email the picture to me, I'll resize it & get it uploaded to your profile: webmaster@southernairboat.com

You have the tags right, but there's a problem with the url (internet address) of the picture:

Code: Select all

Here's the code that displays the picture below:
