Go to THAT picture then right click and pull down to Save Image Location.

Go to your post

Hit IMG and don't move the cursor.

hit Control and V then roll the cursor out of the IMG tags.

Continue with your post.

You've got the right idea John. The only problem is that the address you used is to the web page that displays the picture and not the actual picture itself.

Here's the actual code you would use in your post:

Code: Select all

[img]http://www.southernairboat.com/photopost/data/863/medium/airboat_yard.jpg[/img]

Most browsers have a "copy image location" function by right clicking, but if you're using Internet Explorer, I think you right click, then select "Properties" and copy/paste the image's internet address into your post.

I found Disable BBC Code checked.

Click EDIT and see the code and tags.

[img]http%20://www.southernairboat.com/photopost/data/863/medium/airboat_yard.jpg[/img] I inserted a space after http so it would show the text instead of inbed it. Don't use the address in the browser address bar. Refer to Rick's post above how to get the image location address.

Voodoo Child

I'm working with other peoples pictures. They will be in their respective galleries.

The image is small because you are getting the location of the thumbnail before you click it and see the full size image. Get the full size image on the screen first then get the properties info.

Your almost there.
