Lycoming phase 3 cam 0540 heeelp

Postby xeyes » Mon Jan 09, 2017 3:31 pm

Hello folks,
I'm looking for a phase 3 cam for an 0540. D and S can grind the H290 but Larry does not have the master profile for the Phase 3. Who elso out there can grind one for me.
Thanks Ben

Not sure but you might try Jurnigans. They can do almost anything. If not they can probably send you in the right direction.
Compromise is failure on the installment plan.

I'm going to stay with the stock 75190 cam, Jurnigans said the phase 3 cam performance range is around 3000 rpm. For my aplication in an aircraft anything over 2750 just makes more noise.

Thanks All,

H290 for that RPM range is the best cam you can get IMO
