11/7 gore 350 or 4.3

Postby Direct drive » Mon Feb 13, 2017 9:52 am

Would a 350 be to big for my 11/7 gore or should I try to build a light 4.3 just want to run a little dry but mainly a ride boat on a budget what would be a better approach with no gearbox

350 with a custom ground cam shaft and lifters to match.bullet cam shafts out of Alabama.and a set of alumn heads used or new set.and run a nice alumn water pump.
But with that being said u will have to an eye on mains/thurst bearing play in and out play.
Hope this helps y all besafe. :rebel:

Probably not much difference in weight between the two so I'd say you are better off with the 350 since it will make more power than the 6 cylinder.
