and a couple more...... fyi.. this was my first time to ever work with metal tubing in any way, shape or form... bending was a lot easier than I had expected.. but making the saddle cuts and welding the thin wall stuff kicked my ass!

That looks awesome! I cant wait to see how that 32 does for you. I have found when welding EMT that stitch welding helps out ALOT. That is going to be a cool boat. Are you doing 4x8?

Exactly weld for a sec n stop n go n so forth works great. I build my rigging and in 2yrs the only weld to break was the step goin up.and that was using a gasless mig.

thanks for the education on stitch welding... link below is to some of the build photos... I don't want to hi-jack the thread, so I'll eventually post a new thread with all the detail. We will now clean up the metal work, slap on the welded wire to the cage and paint a desert tan camo scheme.. the red was just a pigment we added to the epoxy resin we used for the heck of it.. Boat is really fun, and perfect for my kiddos.. I think the hull weight got away from me a bit, and I have a little too much prop.. (3 bld, 44" diameter, 12degree pitch).. she is only turning 2300 RPM WOT. Not sure where I missed on the propping.. I remember Papee saying he was running a 3bld, 44" ultra at 12 degrees... which is why I chose the prop I did. Not sure if I'm not getting all the "ass" out of the motor I should be? or if I really do just have too much prop? I any case.. the boat is very fun in shallow water.. it handles great, and feels very stable and safe, which is What I wanted for my boys. Very fun project!! thanks to all who helped us along the way!!

drew out the arch on a sheet of plywood, and drove framing nails as I went, starting at one end, and bending the tubing around the nails as I went, using the pencil mark of the arch to follow as a guide.

Gg Kustomz, What type of glue or epoxy did you use in your build? I've "kitted" my Lake Buggy Airboat and ready for assembly. Epoxy doesn't agree with me and I was thinking about using Titebond III along with SS screws. Thanks for any imput.
