That is absolutely brutal  A 46foot boat coasting 50feet upside-down and backwards @ over 100mph. Probably running Lycoming T-53 1500horse turbines.

That's how a real playboy goes out of this world :salute:

Mike Fiore is the one who died. He was the owner and founder of Outerlimits Powerboats. He was a great guy, A gentleman and always took time to converse about the sport. He made all his competitors really step up their game the last 15 years. Their boats have a fit and finish unlike any others. Unfortunately, like fast airboats when it started to lift he backed off the throttles causing it to go over rather than run the K planes down. It did not have Lycoming Turbine engines. It was a partially carbon fiber hull powered by twin Mercury Racing 1350's.

I have been in a few go fast boats in the 90mph zone and that was fast enough! We had to wear goggles and if anyone had been out on the forward deck walking around prior to a run the sand left on the deck would sting your face.
