Thats slick. Hope you dont have the same problem I did, weight was an issue pulling on the exhaust studs, I had to put steep up studs in mine so it wouldn't pull them out. I like it.
The excess weight and vibration is why the springs attach the collector. If that joint was welded they would break. This way each downtube is not connected to the others.

The boat is in Alaska and doing a great job. It hauled a moose and 4 men down the river on plane on a 12 x 7 hull. Dick put 170 hrs on it this summer and no problem with exhaust studs. The collector is not welded on the header tubes. We think it picked up about 15 HP.
