I do believe if your main use is hunting or running alotta of dry ground the lowest you can get it is best,,, now I’ve moved up to North Fla and run the gulf we moved ours up to have some downward push on the bow to help with ruff water . We run minimal dry ground

I haven’t checked dom but we bought some emt for some stands and it has over doubled in price

Since it’s new to you I’d put a wrench on all the engine mounts, alt, prop, etc…. don’t want anything coming loose and getting in the prop. Good Luck and Enjoy

You’ll find boats with the prop inches above the stringers to the entire prop above the transom,,, There’s a lotta personal opinion on this,

If you consider swapping valve covers check out the ones the circle track guys run. They have tall tubes 2 or 3 inches that your breathers sit on

Turn the solid side towards the front of the boat,,, this stopped it for me

We got checked at Shired.. 1 officer was super nice checked our fish no problems,,, the other guy checked my Son checked his fish,measuring stick,reg,vin # on hull, Said the spacing on his fl numbers was wrong and he ended up with a fine for no flag $140. Guess it’s luck of the draw

Has anyone had experience with poly running past transom causing a hop,,Friends rig the poly is like 2 inches past the transom. Just wondering if it can flex enough to cause that issue?

We went today water is in the mid 50’s,, The bite is red hot!!!

Took some of the Grandkids today. Trout bite was awesome,, caught handful of reds. It’s only gonna get better. These are the days I truly enjoy!
