I have found a e-185 complete engine w/prop old bear hull and trailer for 700.00. the engine runs but @ running temp oil pressure is around 8-12 psi. I have been told the 185 will run with low pressure even if it needs work is 700.00 sound o.k.and what could be causing low oil pressure.

Anybody heard of this today. I was @ the lake yesterday ridin all the kids and there where 2 big gators hangin out. A spanish guy was fishing on the bank and 1 got his butt today.

What would be some of the main reasons a boat would have low pressure. This motor hasn't been ran in a while because of this but it does run. What kind of $$$ would I be looking at to have it gone throught.
