I used WD40 to clean mine up from that oxidization look. I also wipe them down with it after a few uses to keep the gunk from sticking to it. Works very well.

I have lights on the cage and on the bow. I do not care for cage lights because the rigging and you create a pretty good shadow right in the middle of the boat. The boat I have now has a light bar in the rake and it works great.

Our rec fuel down here in LaBelle is listed as 90. Do those octane boosters really work?!

I have owned a Combee and a Gore, but the Gore was not built by a manufacturer, it was a backyard build. Loved the Combee too, they just went out of business. Bought my 1st DB in 2005, and it did so well for me that I bought another one in 2020. I figure if it ain't broke don't fix it!

WERP is really all about storing water for the Miami, Ft Lauderdale WPB and Naples communities to keep up with their water needs as they grow.

WERP is no different and while I'm sure restoring the Everglades is a top priority, removing camp owners, airboaters, hunters etc. (i.e. traditional use) is high on their removal plans. It's why they were so shady with the initial dealings of the plan, not mentioning about how many camp/land...
