Over the years I've seen some pretty nice looking paint jobs on boats. I've spent the past 2 days trying to locate some to get ideas for how to paint up my new hull. I bought gray diamond tread seadek with blue inlay for the bow deck, so I'm planning to go gray with some type of blue accent...

Finally got my boat and got it home. It was built 8ft across the chimes, so we had to improvise to get it on the trailer. Gonna have to revise my trailer now. Lol But at least it's a step in the right direction. Got my poly screws on the way down. Hopefully I will have everything squared away...

That's a pretty decent turnaround.

I called and classic and they can get it, but takes 5-6 weeks to get it. Guess that's where I'll be getting it unless someone locates some soon I can just pick up. Lol Thanks for the help, y'all!

Can't win for losing...I was supposed to be picking up my new hull tomorrow, but they ran out of helium, welding on Friday, and were unable to get any today. Apparently there is a shortage, FFS! I called locally and the places that do have it won't start a new account because of the shortage...

No problem! I tore a small spot on mine years ago and it started plowing real bad and would barely move in open water wide open

Poly can make one heck of a difference depending on what the problem is with it. If it is wavy, it will cause more friction with the water's surface creating more drag. And it only takes a small piece hanging off to me like trying to drive down the road standing on the brakes

If all goes as planned I'll have my new hull next week. If that happens, gonna look into going ahead and going gear box and new prop. Looking forward to getting back on the water and seeing you all!
