0-360 spin on oil filter adapter

I picked up a new boat, has an 0-360 on it no serial tag on the engine so I’m not sure exact model. Believe it’s a straight valve narrow deck engine. All i know is it’s bone stock and i was wanting to use a spin on oil filter. Couple questions about it is there a difference in the part i need or are all the adapters the same for my application? And is there aftermarket parts for these or do i just gotta bite the bullet and spend the money on one from an aircraft manufacturer

The $400 aircraft kit is certainly the best and cleanest solution, but it's $400 and all for the kit. I bought a cast spin on filter head for $25 (or whatever) with a matching filter (NAPA Gold 1060) and plumbed it into the oil cooler supply line. The oil system already includes a course mesh screen on the pick up and the fine mesh screen on the pressure side. When the motor is cold it runs through the two screens but bypasses the spin on, but once up to temperature a bulk of the oil flow is through the filter and cooler.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that the spin on kits include a bypass check valve such that most of the oil bypasses the spin on during warm up anyway. With my set up the oil passes through the suction and pressure screens before running through the spin on filter, seems like enough filtration to me.

Follow this thread if you need to confirm it's a 360.
