Is there an adapter to go from the 8 bolt splined shaft to the standard lxl aircraft pattern? Would like to get away from this wood prop and go composite.

I would think maybe a prop manufacturer could answer that.

Yes they make them however the one I had came with the engine so Im not sure where you would get one.

Are you looking for a direct drive setup or are you running the gear nose? They did make a direct drive crank with prop hub on it, but I imagine you don't want to tear the engine all the way down to do that.

It is the direct drive setup.
