Been working with a friend on a brand new rig. May finish this coming week. Will make a glades run for break in with him.
Gonna run the boat this weekend for some gator surveys...easy running...but will post results. Maybe see you in the glades some day.

Finally got to run the boat about 3 hrs...was unexpectedly satisfied with performance...lost about 50 rpms, however a set of spark plugs i think would take care of some of the loss....ran a good 2 miles of wet sand and mud, no water no grass fresh pumped farm field, about 1/4 mile at a time, oil temp never got over 175. Cooled right down to 155-160 with about 3 min rest at 1000 rpm.
Now for the rest of the story...the only time it is quite is at an idle and up to about 1500...after that I really couldsn't tell a difference. (6 blade warp drive)

Grant,
I just finished installing mufflers on our 200 the other day.
I did not loose any norticeable rpm, and it is quieter at idle.

Not a huge difference at cruising rpm. I don't have a db meter, but at least I don't have to worry about getting a ticket now.

Basketcase,

Not sure who makes them. Got them from Superior Airboat.

Heres the breakdown :

headers $275.00

mufflers $260.00

flexpipe $90.00

band clampl $75.00

I'm not gonna pay alot for this muffler!

Remember those commercials?

That's what I kept telling myself Grant.
Yours are probably nicer than these, but hey, they seem to work.

Those are the ones we used on our 180 boat.
The 200 needed new headers, mufflers, flex, and clamps.
Thats set me back about $450 for that boat.

Cowboy,

Man, them are some serious mufflers. Then I think I saw the hinge and realized the door flopped open and you could stuff a roast inside for lunch. Great Idea.

Grant, The mufflers look good. Bet they sound good too.Nice hull design, I like the way the bottom kicks up. Less on the ground. I'll bet it runs dry pretty good

I might call wanye this week if i get a chance only 4 hrs. differents in time I saw your 3a pictures looks like a rough bunch. Tell tom next time i bring the steak.

I know the person on the third boat from the left is responsable for those rumors about the group, I just can't prove it! Ha Ha....Somebody will have to bring everything... I don't think Toms gonna carry anything on the new boat.
