0540 torque how to gain

Angle valve 0540, would like to know how and where to take it to gain more torque

Are you presently running fuel injection or carb? The basic plan is fuel injection (that's what AV 540's are designed to run), 10:1 pistons and AV Gas.

Thanks SG I'm running a carb right now, was thinking about fuel injection and 10.1 pistons and the right cam?

Stay with carb, yes on 10:1 send cam and tappets to D&S in Tampa area, tell them what you want to do, they can add advance to the cam and adjust centerline to build torque #s
