100 LL gas

is 100LL automotive racing fuel the same as a/v gas not sure.

100LL is A/V gas but there is also 100LL auto racing fuel

I'll stick with the 100LL AVGas It is 3.75 a gal. in edgewater and 3.99 in sanford. For now anyway.

I have only used it once it seemed to run better. but i think it is the reason my motor ran hot. plus I think it is unleaded.

You could be right i will check tommorrow i am going to hate to throw a way almost 20 gallons of this stuff if it is unleaded. my boat temp. never ran that hot till i ran it with it

i would think the 100 octane racing fuel would be unleaded, 100 LL does denote low lead, which is loved by aviation engines... however i do not know exactly for sure, but like i said the racing fuel is probably unleaded but IDK

you and 550 are right i seen 100 racing fuel and filled her up thats what i get for assuming.

Gas just went to 5.85 here in Destin and that's with the local discount, I drove 40 miles last month and paid 3.40 now it's at 4.00 a gall.

Av Gas labled LL is called low lead but still has a HUGE amount more lead then even the leaded autogas had. Mo Gas and Av Gas arent the same animals, LL or not, 100 Octane or not. Im not a petro people so I dont know the exact specifications difference but they are different.

everybody that i talked to said the racing fuel does not have lead in it.i thought it said on the pump that it had lead in it on the pump.plus i had people tell me it would make the motor run hot.i have used it before and didn't see any diff. in hp or oil temp.

5.85 and 4.00 a gallon! wow, we got av gas in vero and fellsmere for like 3.30 or 3.40 right now if yall are in the area... just lettin ya kno...
