220 conversion intake

I have been gathering parts to do a ground power to aircraft cylinder conversion and I have the aircraft intake pipes coming soon. I would like to still run a Holley 500 my plan is to make or buy an adapter to mount the carb to the new intake tubes does anyone have a setup like that Thanks

Do you have room out in front of the mags to fit a Holley into the rigging?

It’s going to be tight I believe I’m going to receive a ypipe looking pipe and 2 long elbows . No balance tube yet I’m not sure if I need a special balance tube from a certain 470 or if there all the same I’m trying to make a deal with a guy to buy everything I will need from a Cessna he is parting out

I have a 13' river master to 220/470 I'm running ground power intake converted to to barrel Holley In front of my mags carburetor Sets a little bit under driver seat but worked out well. Hope this helps The GPU Intake has a 2 barrel flange welded to

The 500 Holley is tunable to save fuel in any conversion, the aircraft carbs are nothing but great big tractor units and are fuel hogs.
