220 GPU Conversion Parts

I have the PE-150, 220 GPU and I want to change the cylinders to the O-470. Do I need different push rod tubes and push rods, different valve covers, piston wrist pins? I heard the O-470's will bolt right on, but I need to know what else I need to convert to the dual mag system.

Also the mags are suppose to be the Bendix S6LN-23. Can I use the Bendix S6LN-25 or is there a Slick mag with impulse I could use?

everything will bolt right on.that is what i did to my motor. you will need piston for aircraft, cylinder's , value cover, rocker, rocker pins and fuel tubes, carb, mag gears, mag ,plus the pin the mag sits on.you will need to have someone drill two holes foe the mag pin to bolt to.make a big difference. i would say the best person to talk to is jc stanley, here is his phone#1-407-927-9701

Thanks for the information. I talked to JC Stanley and he was very helpful. He told me all the things I need and what to inspect when I take off the other cylinders. I forgot to ask about what magnetos I need but I can find that out later. The single mag is a S6LN-23 but I think the O-470 calls for the S6LN-25.

i was looking at doing the conversion too, just out of curosity, but what does that finished job run, price wise? just a rough ball park figure. are cylinders still running around $250?
