45 HP Briggs and Stratton

Has anyone heard of a 45 HP engine in the makings for B&S?

Someone said a while back about such an engine coming on board fro B&S, but I’ve never heard anymore.

It might provide the extra HP for the mini airboats and make them more marketable, especially with the 35HP models seeming to run well.

I have in the mud motor forums they are basically the 35 with a kit added not sure of hand what all was done and I think they where supposed to come out with a factory model this year. things seem pretty darn heavy to me they wold defeat the propose at least in my mind to a mini airboat why not just stick a VW engine on there it maybe a little liter and 40-53 hp for a old bug

It's coming soon? When? Where? Who is making it? Please share what you know about this.

I was figuring that if a 35 hp briggs performed okay on a mini airboat, then a 45 HP briggs might be the ticket.

Who knows, even American Airboats might venture into mini airboats once again as it should be more lucrative with this engine.

There are some guys working on it . If i could sell some stuff i would love to contribute! turbo VW 250hp gear reducted ! set up lite good on gas.I'd drive the mess out of it.
