460 parts?

Got a stock block, hot tanked and magged, 672 CID SVO 11.3 block, 5" Crank, Carillo Rods, Gen II Hemi heads....Probably have 5 or 6 roller cams and misc stuff. The only thing I got that's tame at all is the bare block though.
 
I have an old continental stock engine I am using for a buggy. I have never been happy with stock engines. So I am looking for economical parts to make it a happier engine....dove heads, manifold, headers,carb, etc. I'd love to have a 10k engine in it, but the man is deep into my pockets...Like to hear what GOT BAITS Bro wants for his..
 
Rich,I`ve got another 460 out of a continental,it`s stock and ran great when pulled,would make a great spare @ 200.00 bucks :D

rich where you located think i have some dove heads still and maybe 1 bottom end with truck rods. im in alabama now but they are located at my place in levy county

When you folks speak of "dove" are you refering to the casting numbers or to a new manufacturer?

I worked for a couple diffrent Ford dealers on the parts counter for several years in the 80's and remember finding the necessary mounts to change 351M/400's over to 429/460's, which was a hell of an improvement!
 
I have a stealth alum int by weiand. It is ported and polished to cobra jet, you would have to have your heads done. If interested let me know.
 
DAMN RICH YOU GOT ENOUGH BEER CANS LAYIN AROUND , DO LIKE FORD DOES AND RE-CYCLE THEM INTO THE PARTS YOU NEED. :lol: OR I MAY HAVE ONE CHAINED UP TO ONE OF MY OLD CHEVY BUGGYS , WE KEEP THEM FORD MOTORS ON THE BACK OF OUR CHEVY BUGGYS ON A CHAIN SO WE CAN KICK THEM OFF WHEN WE NEED TO SLOW DOWN OR WE USE THEM FOR ANCHORS WHEN WERE FISHIN IN A FLAG POND .
