5 Blade Sensenich S Series

Sensenich makes a 5 blade hub. What if somebody took 5 "S" blades and a hub and put them together?

What do y'all think it would take to turn that, and how do you think it would perform? Would it not be quieter still than a 4 blade?
 
.... and not have to pitch em as deep, which should also make the set-up quieter.

Oh man, that would look awesome too. Talk about torque roll though :shock:

I know its a showboat and all, but have they run that?

What is the reduction ratio on there? Is the second prop a K Series?
 
well guess I will just have to wait on a new motor, not really I could run a five blade set on 1.5 because I am currently runnin a four blade at the 2.5 mark depending on what i want the top rpms to be. However unless they want to give it to me to run I have spent enough on props at this point. Now if I had baskets money and was runnin a counter rotator well that would be different. Just kiddin jeff & dawn. LOL
 
Braggin rights ? You want braggin rights ? Show up with a 5 blade "Q" on your boat ...... the silence will be deafening.

Hmgm, if he runs it like it looks like it'll go, that shine is good for maybe 20 minutes. :lol:

I was talking to a customer this morning and he mentioned "The M&M Boat". Apparently it's his boss' boat, and it has a 632 on it with a Donovan block and Dart heads

He said they are having trouble with the center shaft breaking on the counter roatator
 
its not really a show boat, he runs the boat everywhere. it no longer has the pro chager but is still one of the badest bbc's iv seen on a boat

i wanna say lil armond spins a 5 bld S with a 3.12 and a stroker sbc its how u build it not what u have !!

yepper that was my baby ... and it still is in good hads ole hotrod captain is takin good care of it ... beatin it just enough that it don't go soft on him LOL
 
yep and all that wid a a junkyard engine ... I just didn't say which or who's junkyard ... by the way I have found better junkyards to play in now so one of these days after the greatest depression is over ... well y'all stay tuned for the next chapter ...
