520 oil filter

Hey gang it's time to change my oil and I was wondering what kind of filters everyone is using on their 520's?? Right now I have the Champion Aerospace CH48109-1. Are there any cheaper ones out that I can get from someplace other than an airport??

BPS, I use the K&N HP3001 on my 0550 you can get them at discount auto for around $12.00 they even have the nut on the top like the aircraft filter.

Adam, I get mine from Jr. I run "Air Maze" OF 51A . Never priced them anywhere else. He gets $20 ea for them. What do they get at the AP for them?

Harvey, I've found them for between $17 and $22. Not bad but I was just curious as to what my options were.

The NAPA equivalent to this filter is the 1515 (or Wix 51515). Although ours doesn't have the hex on the bottom, and is doesn't have as thick a case as the K&N, it is a good bit cheaper and easier to get a hold of. You should be able to buy 2 for the price of one K&N.

BTW, NAPA does carry K&N as well, so you don't HAVE to go to Brand X
