670 rotax reduction?

I recently bought a rotax 670 that I’ll be putting on my 12ft Fiberglas spyda hull built by randy. I’m having a hard time finding a C gear reduction, I was wondering what did y’all think about the belt reduction? I found a place on eBay that makes them for my motor for 950$ what are the pros and cons with belt and gear reduction?

i run a belt drive on a yamaha 540 2 stroke only drawback that i see is stress on engine bearings that you would not have with a gearbox
