A/C power boats...

Go big but you better have a lot of dollars for gas. The one I have will drink gas like my buddies drink beer. Fuel injected upstack 0720 lycoming 8 cylinder. It will take you where ever you want. I really like it. It is definately not the cheapest thing to run.
 
Just don't really have much of a club here is all ,mostly just trying to get a head count.
But Squatch, Teal , you , and I really belong to very small group with our setups.
We cant all be president of our group.
 
if it warms up today i may go try to put the o-540 back together today. it is fun to drive when it isn't broken.
although it isn't technically A/C, my little gpu powered boat has been a bulldozer.
a guy stopped by my shop and commented about the pile of empty oil jugs in the corner of my shop. i had to stop and laugh. all i could do is point at my 2 boats sitting there and laugh. at 8$ a qt it ain't a poor mans game. lol
 
when i run low and have have to get it in my little town it's 8.50 a qt. lol
i ordered 8 cases before hunting season from a buddy who runs a parts store for 58$ a case for the w100, the w100plus was 78$ a case.
 
Jopete , which don davis hull do you have , and where are you located ?
I'm REALLY wanting to have him build me a hull.
 
it's a 1980 sumthing 12'er with a front driver. boat is fun to drive, it will probly be for sale soon, real cheap if the engine is junk. i live in south la., near lafayette.

Jopete , I would like to see this Davis hull , can you send pics to me ?
 
I just had Tom Jeffords rebuild my spare PE-90 engine , and its on the truck heading back to Houston, it is going to be a good engine for a 1 or 2 seater boat if anybody might be interested.

A rigged out boat, engine, and all weighs less than the usual car motor boat....
