A Trail from Lake Hernando to Withlacoochee River?

Boblee,
There is but it goes thru private property and 1 spot of it is involved in a fight with SWFWMD over a leaking berm. So don't try that one. BUT, if you have a real powerful boat and can get up the side of the outfall canal at the water control structure then just go up, around , and back down into the water. The worst part is on the River side of the structure.
If you want to ride the Hernando Marsh on Sunday the 7th after the Airboat show, then come on. A bunch of us are.
I live off Turner Camp Road by the Brogdan Bridge.

Thanks for the invite. I live on the backwater and would like to leave from the house

and get to Hernando. That is a fun place to ride!

I know we are riding Sunday but anyone going to ride Saturday after the show,. I'll be there but I don't plan on a all dayer there.

Is the airboat show the one that is going on at I-75 and SR 44, and if myself and a couple of friends are thinking of going. Interested in were we could ride after the show, we are from the Orlando area and belong to SCAC, please sent any info you would please. ZoomZoom

Lake Hernando is close that is I believer where A1mudpuppy and others will be going. It is located on US 41 north of Inverness. Turn north on 41 from 44 in Inverness. Go to http://www.mapquest.com for directions. But I imagine you will turn west out of the airboat show on 44 and take it to town turning left(north) on 41 just past Sonny's BBQ. You will come to a light in Hernando at East Norvall Bryant Hwy or 486 (2 names 1 road) boat ramp on right.

Plan on going to the show and be there when it starts at 10am,so Bondsman I really don't have anytime line on when I'll be going. I'm hooking up with Country for some breakfast at Hwy 50 & I-75 Saturday mourning @ 8am then off to the show. ZZ, if you al would like to ride after we take in the show, that would be great. We are to meeting up with Stan at the show to. If you are coming from Orlando you'll take Fl. Turn pike N. to I-75 N. and get off Hwy 44 head West to the last place on the right. from there you'll take Hwy 44 W to Hwy41 then N on Hwy 41 to Hernando just past the light you'll take a right to the boat ramp.
