ABW

I am gonna pipe in on this since Terri is unable to. I spoke to her at the Broward show. They have moved the office and are having some serious issues with the dial up connection. She told me they were in the process of hiring a computer expert to come in and fix 'em up. Hope to see them up and running soon.

Dawn: she has been pipin that story for at least three months now. It really should be able to be fixed by now don't you think. Ok enough from MARVIN get back in here boy. LOL but really now you know what i mean geez

This chatter has been going on since I checked into this site. I don't imagine that they have a really large readership because I think to myself, how many airboaters are there in this world anyways? Visibal minority! I get the impression that country is writing for them! I would buy a subcription if I knew I would get the article!

It's the only airboat magazine out there as far as I know. And it's pretty good too. And run by cool people who are knowlegable and well connected.

I've got a lot of photos to submit if they want them, I no longer know how to reach them.

But Cold is right - the dial-up excuse if getting old. The dial-up connection they use to check email has nothing to do with how we view their website. The fact that there is some ariboat image there says the connection is still there, but honestly, it looks like a money issue. That web page reminds me of that telephone message they put on your phone when you are late on the bill... "The number you have reached is temporarily out of service..." And money issues are a simple explaination of why they [seemingly] can't even get a business office up and running. I know this sounds mean, and I've bit my tounge on this for awhile. I may be totally wrong here, I'm just calling it as it looks from where I'm sitting. I'm surprised the move has taken this many months!

Yet the issues keep coming. I hope all returns to normal for Terri and crew. Terri, if you are reading this, as I always say to you when I see ya, Is there anything we can do to help? I used to be on the board of directors for the FL Mac User's Group. I've got some computer techie connections - I may be able to turn you on to some creative tech support if you need help with your macs. My bro-in-law is a certified Microsoft Systems Engineer too. He's a self employed consultant. Just let me know.

matt.
