Buyer Beware If you have seen the ads on this site or Craigslist for Rigging and repairs in Osteen Fl for $4000 This is a scam by the one and only Jeff Love Of Afliction Airboats I paid him a deposit of $2000 to start my rigging over 4 months ago Every time I talk to him its a new excuse If you want to know more about him you can Goggle Jeff Love or Afliction airboats Hope this will save someone not to make the big mistake I made Spread the word :florida:
 
Someone posted this on the last ripoff thread....same guy....Affliction definition= something that causes pain or suffering....couldn't have a better named attached to them...I'm glad I did my research before unloading my cash and hope others do the same before spending them hard earned dollars.
 
This is my only comment on this. Bill came to my shop with his boat to have new rigging built because he wasn't happy with it. I told him up front it would be 3-4 weeks before I could get to it he was fine with that. I also told Bill once I order the materials there is no refund he was fine with that. He left his boat then 2-3 weeks later him and his wife come pick it up to go ride. 2 weeks later I get a call from him that he sold the boat. I already had the engine and seat stand done he said he would take it and sell it I told him not to worry about it I would use it on another boat and just refund the money when I got paid for that boat he was fine with that. I sent him 1000.00 through Wal-Mart and told him I would send the other 1000.00 asap then today I get a text saying just send 500.00 I was busy welding and didn't respond fast enough so he calls and leaves a voice mail saying he's coming out to deal with me face to face. I told him I don't need 4-5 calls a day to remind me I would make sure I got it to him as soon as I got a minute. This evening I read this crap and Rick shuts down my account. I tried to do the right thing by him and send his money back even though he knew there was no refund and he sold the boat in the middle of the job. I think most people would have told him to kick rocks. I have built 6-8 sets of rigging for guys this year with zero complaints on my workmanship or price but you cant make everyone happy I guess. Oh and I have never been to Wisconsin Rich
 
What a load of BS..If this is the same guy that stuck his hand in the prop..maybe you should return to the Doctor and have your head examined. The boat that was at Jeffs was a pure piece of misfit rigged by Poor boys....You Billyboy SOLD the boat half way thru the build.
Any business man with common sense would not refund one penny. I am on my 4th boat buildout in a year and have no issues with price or quality of work.
 
That's Typical Jeff Love Gets one of his AH buddy's ( Realist ) to join Southern Airboat To try to back him up :lol:
 
Same old smoke screen/run around. Scam artist for sure. The bad reputation follows them like pepe le pew's smell, they are banking on a sucker born every day, gotta do that reasearch before taking the plunge.
 
Since this is a newer post and normally I build my own, who is affliction on this site?

I picked up a hell of a deal from little john selling a bone collector alumiitech rigging after he got tired of all the changes and told both bone collector and his texas bowfish client to pound sand.
Kind of hard to believe that this is still happening 3 years later?

Recently I almost walked right into his scam planning to building a boat for my son. Thankfully I read a lot on this site and read about this guy in a older post. I too saw his ad on craigslist and texted with him about the work we wanted done. So thankful I saw this post. I got screwed out of 29k about 5years ago on a guy building a piece of business equipment for me. That ended with assault charges attorney's fees to defend myself and the guy spent my money never intended to build equipment and no way to recover money from his broke ass. Research, Research and more Research before giving money to just anyone.
 
Yep, done 4 boats since you picked yours up 3 more at the shop waiting. You still lying about when you sold your boat? According to the guy above you didn't sell your boat when you said you did. The text you sent me saying you sold it was well over a month before he says he bought it. If you didn't have the money to pay me you could have just said so instead of lying about selling it. Have a good one bud!
 
Money had nothing to do with it, I found out who you are, A Liar and a crook!!! Maybe with all the boats that you are building, you can pay off some of your many lawsuits.
 
Well little Bill if that was the reason you lied about selling your boat and backed out of the agreement that's fine. Getting on this website and starting a thread bashing me with false bullshit is called defamation dick. The only lawsuit I have going is against the last dick that did this and if you were worth the time I would have one against you. enjoy your day

Im not a member of the BBB so I really dont care about that, junior I dont know if your pissed because you cant ride the big rides at disney or what. I dont have any complaints about my work in fact everyone tells me its better than they hoped. Im sorry you couldnt afford to finish your boat and had to sell it but thats not my problem. Keep working at it little fella you will get there one day.
