If you want to stay at the casino I have a group rate arranged for that weekend. There is a poll listed under other airboating events AAOF BBQ. I just need to know how many rooms to block Minimum 10 for the discounted rate. Please see the poll.

Don't want to confuse anybody, but I've created this area to keep track of all the AAOF Annual BBQ threads. This is a major get together and I just thought it needed it's own area.

I also added it to the rotating links shown at the top of every SA web page.

OK.. I just got off the phone with the manager of the casino.. Group rate confirmed at $119.00 per night. When you call to make your reservation let the person know you want the group rate listed under Airboat Association Of Florida. Keep in mind they gave us this rate for 10 rooms so if you made a reservation already call them back to get our rate. We need 10 rooms for this rate.

We won't make this one. My nephew is coming into town on Saturday and staying until next Sunday so I am going to spend time with him. Have fun and sorry we will miss it. I know it will be a great time!!!!!

Just called and canceled our reservation and updated it to the AAOF price quote. No problem. Price dropped to 119.00 + taxes. :D

That's great Gator.. Glad to see it work out. Now that makes two of you so far who got the discount. There are more on the poll that need to call.

Davie480, I wouldn't even care if it rained the day of the BBQ. I found out a long time ago that I don't melt. Airboaters can 'do it in the rain' too. :lol:

Does anyone know if there will be any of the Eastern Flight 401 Survivors or family attending the BBQ? There is a possible Coast Guard Fly over for the BBQ and they would like to know.
