Airboat CERT - Search and Rescue Training

Online Search and Rescue Training Available Soon

For those airboaters interested in participating in the Airboat CERT-Emergency Response Network, endorsed by the Florida Airboat Association, an online school hosted by the Florida Wilderness Search and Rescue Association, is in the finishing phases and will be open in Mid July to SAR personnel. This school will provide online training for those looking for NASAR SARTECH III, II and I certification help, OSHA training, Hazmat Training and more.

Certifications will be given for completion of each class by from the Florida Wilderness Search and Rescue Association and The Florida Institute of Industrial Technology.

Pre-registration for classes will begin July 10, 2005 and the URL addresses will be made available at that time.

To Emergency Managers, CERT Coordinators and Teams:

The 2006 Florida CERT Conference at the Marriott Hotel in Palm Beach Gardens is fast approaching. The price is $50 for registration.
