Someone better start taking a tire off that trailer and locking it up since the neighborhood doesn't appear to be nice.

Makes me want to bait them in and wait for them.
It's like hunting. We really need to catch as many of these low lifes as possible and make examples out of them. Letting them know airboaters wont stand foer this crap any longer.

1 Padlock on the hitch?

2 Let the air out of a tire & put the valve in our pocket?

3 Leave a cell phone turned on & hidden in the Airboat?

4 Rottweiler?

5 Park it by the chicken house?

6 110v chainlink fence?

7 Fish line ran to the burglar alarm?

8 Burry a board ahead of the trailer with nails so when they backup to it their tires go flat? (I'd probly forget & flat my own)

9 Make the ole lady stay up & watchit?

10 Was gonna do ten but I thimk I hear a truck outside.....

Here's one
put some expanded metal under the crank
then hook one wire to the airboat trailer and the other one to the expanded metal, don't forget to plug it in to some 110 or better yet 220 When they go to hook up the trailer ZAP....lights go dim call the cops!

Great stuff Guys,

Yeah Basket, they(Son, Wife, Daughter & Grand Daughter) have none discovered it yet but yes I'll hear abt it sooner or later

Noticed too that Matt backed off #9. He really didn't splain it very good

Wife Vernalee has a very good(bad) memory though & those long forgotten things can appear at the most unwelcomed times.

For those with a little Indian know how it would seem right for the thieves to check in & not be able to check out.
Just dig a little ditch perpendicular & in front of the boat trailer to recieve the rear wheels of the arriving truck or car. Use small plywood to cover with grass & support the lawn mower. When we unhook just swing the tongue around to the security position.

You could even invite the wanna be criminals with a sign saying, Airboat Unattended 6pm - 6am!

Of course we wouldn't want to forget this one, it'll be wrecker time
