i am supposed to pick up my new boat this week and i would like to know who has the best deal on airboat insurance. i would appreciate any input. thanks

Wood,

Jeanett Voisin is the agent for the International Water Safety Foundation, she is based out of Chaenton, Louisiana and one of her specialization's is airboat insurance. Jeanette's e-mail is jv@aisp.net and her phone number is (337) 923-6881. I just recently aquired a policy from her, it's full coverage, hull replacement and all. If she can't help you maybee she can refer you to someone in your area that can.

Regards,

Jeff

STOP, do not call IWSF!!!

Many states they are not legal to sell Insurance and will not pay if you have a claim. However they will sell you insurance!

If you live in Florida and are going to call the Texas company, your first question needs to be........Are you licensed to do business in Florida? Every State has their own insurance comission with their own set of rules they play the GAME by. It is just like gambeling. It could be the Texas outfit is indeed licensed in Florida but ya need to ask before ya spend money.

Faron has a good point for everyone.

Call bryant insurance ... he is a member of the lake county airboat club and an airboater for many years. he won't steer you wrong.

If you live in the state of Texas, Louisiana, or Florida please review the following links about International Water Safety Foundation A.K.A. "IWSF."

He can get you real airboat insurance thru Markel American Insurance Co.
This is the only full coverage airboat insurance that will pay your claim. I paid $1179 for the year for my new 13'6 Alumitech with coverage on the aircraft engine too, the deductable is 500 and covers the full value of boat motor and trailer. Sounds like alot of money but you sure would appriciate having it if someone stole your boat or you totaled it.
