Airboat Races

Did anyone else go to the races last weekend?

Didn't make it. I looked at the pics and there didn't seem to be that many differenct race boats. Was it worth your time?

Well, that was my first event and I wasn't to impressed by the turn out. I'm sure that hurricane Charlie was most to blame. Does anyone know of any more races this month or coming up? Let me know...

What about the hill race they are talking about in September down in Ft. Lonesome? Anyone have any info on that?

I haven't heard anything about that...I'll check it out and let you know.

The airboat hill races at Fort Lonesome on 9/18/04 have been cancelled because of storm damage. It's probably just as well because there's another event scheduled on the same day in Melbourne, FL.

The "Sarno Shootout", as it's called, is put on by The Brevard County Air & Power Boat Association & Renegade Racing Concepts. I'll be getting more info about the event as soon as they nail it all down.
