3rd Annual Airboat Swap Meet

Saturday - March 1, 2008 - 9am to 5pm

Bring your unwanted airboat parts to sell.
Come and find a bargin.
Door prizes drawn every hour with gate admission ticket.
Fun for the whole family.

4600 West Hwy 326
EXIT 358 in Ocala just west of I-75
Gates open at 7am for vendors. All money collected at the gate goes to the airboat club. Lake County Airboat Club will be the food and beverage vendor this year.

Had a fantastic time.
I was looking for a new boat and this was my introduction to airboaters from abound verse the couple of rednecks(lol) I hang out with.
I hope it is drier, too. I believe it hampered some of the entertainment.
It was entertaining though to watch the innocent (or _ _ _ _ _ _ ) people leave (or go only so far) in the muddy parking area.
Enjoyed watching my son trying to ride the offset bike 10ft..
If I remember right, the raffle boat from the group down south was staged.
Best of all were the people and their boats.
 
Maybe I'll bring some go-fass goodies. Anyone need an all-aluminum 706? :)

I'm thinking about putting my boat up for sale that day.

I know Jerry said that you do not need to bring just airboat stuff, you are more than welcome to bring other stuff as well. I will be there with Rick selling shirts and meeting new people. Looking forward to being there.

I'm going to bring an antique cast iron stationary flywheel engine ..... a 1920 McCormick-Deering. Maybe a few others.
Just sold a 1918 Fairbanks-Morse this week.

I have over 30 antique engines, so if any of y'all love the old engines, or old outboards, PM me and tell me what you're looking for.

i have to back out at the last minute,got complications ariseing.but should be able to see yall at loughmans next saturday. we will see, have fun tomorow.
 
Hey Rick I gave CC and Dakota something to hand you please be sure to talk to Chris at the swap meet. Once again thank you! Wish I could make it but I have been super busy and I'm finally going to take a day off and watch my daughter play soccer! Hope you all have a good time at the swap meet.
