OK guys - read the Magazine Title - NOT Airboat World

This is a NEW magazine owned by all DIFFERENT people.

Airboating Magazine

http://www.airboatingmagazine.com

If it is not this website, if your check does not mail to Tarpon Springs and if the check did not clear from a Wachovia Bank you are NOT dealing with Airboating Magazine you are dealing with someone else and we ARE NOT responsible for their actions or lack there of.

We intend to create a quality product and WE DELIVER it.

I don't think Davie meant anything by that. We are all just used to that name and I sure it was an accident Hawk.

It's 10x easier to SACK & BURN something than build it.
It's 10x more difficult to reposition a worn item than market than position a new one
It's 20x more difficult to change a perception (right or wrong is irrelevant) than it is to create a new one

This group has NO ASSOCIATION WHAT SO EVER with the old Airboat World. They did not burn anyone, take money, etc. I fully understand to need to DISTANCE THEMSELVES from the "less than pleasant" history just as today we take offence as airboaters when We are lumped in with a few "Undesirables" by our opponents!

The is a fine illustration of how a "BAD PERCEPTION" may tarnish far beyond it's original and worthy recipient.

We need communication among us. This bonds us together and helps protect our heritage & future.

When you hear ANYONE say ANYTHING negative about either new publication, I think you need to get your dander up..........Give them both a chance. To me, if the $$$ are less than my bar bill, it's very disposable income.

Seminole-

Thanks.

I spent a few decades building brands in the beverage business. You may have heard of a few: Evian, Seagrams, Sutter Home Kendal Jackson, Robert Mondavi, Beringer, Jim Beam, Moet, Mumm, B&G, Georges Dubouef, Sichel, Dienhard, Glen Ellen, San Pellagrino, Grolsch, Stienlager, Spaten, Tecate, etc, ect, to name a few.

Once you have a reputation......IT STICKS LIKE GLUE! In the mid 1980's, the Germans had a scandal where a few producers were using antifreeze to sweeten their juice. Killed a few people and killed the international German wine trade for a decade.

Moral: Only takes a couple of bad apples to ruin the barrel.

As we are seeing here, Airboat World's past actions has affected NOT JUST AIRBOAT WORLD BUT MANY OTHERS in our circle.

I hope all this BS gets put to bed. The sooner the better for all.

I also know just how much hard work it takes to get useful information out to the public, its not a easy job. Taking the time to get out to many events, getting great pictures and well written articals, Airboating Magazine shows the enjoyments of Airboating from the little RC airboats up to the big boys. I never knew that airboats have been used in the armed forces until I read the July/Aug. issue.
Great job guys keep up the hard work.

Good, Positive, accurate & truthful news is slow as molasses.

Bad news, rumors, half truths etc break the speed of light...........
Then try to correct it later..........doesn't happen.

Great new magazine. Just wondering if there is a chance in the future to have a mag every month or to keep it bimonthly.
