Brian.

Glad to know things are heading in the right direction. I will try to advertise with them again when things are working smoothly. I have not spoken with Angie yet but it sound like she is getting things on track fast.

Something is up with the website right now though. It says someone has hacked into it or something.

Nice work Angie.
Your making a difference.

I got a magazine out of the mailbox myself today.

Things are looking better.

can you post there web site I would like to call or email them to get a magazine.

I have not got one all year even when they said they were going to send me some back dated issues.

Seems like this type of hacking is becoming pretty common with sites that were built using Joomla or Mambo, which are content management sysytems. The hack probably found a certain system file that was accessible, but shouldn't have been.

Some of these hacks almost make it impossible to restore your site unless you have a good backup plan in place, others are mostly cosmetic and be fixed fairly easy.

It sure makes me think twice about Southern Airboat's site security & backup plan.

Man, those poor folks can't get a break. Just when they we're startin to get their act together too. Geez.

I hope the credit card information they have is secure ..... :? .

Those are the kind of slimy low life's who would slash your tires, or stab you in the back.

Puny little poultry deficant, with-out genitalia!

They will probably never get caught, but I sure wish they would.

To me, that goes for those scum bags that are trying the cashiers check scams too. And anyone who cheats people like that.

Before I retired from the Des Moines Police Department I was in charge of the Fraud section. I worked with some of the best fraud detectives and we had great cooperation with the Postal Inspectors, Secrect Service, FBI and others. I can tell you from experience that you need to protect yourself. The goverment won't or can't.

It takes a lot of man hours to find a crook and get solid evidence in order to prosecute these people. If it's not a high priority crime, then not many hours are expended. If the crime is only a few thousand dollars loss then a report is made and not much more. Most solved crimes are actually solved by the victim that gathers the evidence needed for prosecution.

Most crimes are plea bargained to misdeamenors. The big frauds take years to solve and several years to prosecute. Civil cases usually take two or more years to get resolved.

My advise is to protect yourself and your family and don't expect the goverment to do anything for you. Usually goverment just gets in the way and hinders you from protecting yourself, like making it hard to get a gun. Not locking up child molesters and keeping track of them. Keeping criminal records confidental so you never know the evil that is in your mist.
