Just copied the following off of airboattrader.com posted by Beau Stevenson and thought this would help get the word out.
"Airboaters be aware. Your boat is not secure even if the trailer is locked and parked in the open under a yard light. There is an airboat parts theif in the Sumter Co. area. I had the entire top end of my Caddy motor stolen. The theif stood in the cage of my boat covered by a large tarp and took his time carefully disassembling the motor. Taking the headers ,intake,carb and distributor. These parts are history I'm sure but if you're in this area and you value your boat you might think of a way to better secure it. Just for the sake of it if you're in this general area and someone tries to sell you Caddy parts specifically an Edelbrock aluminum intake,Polished stainless headers,Polished Predator carb,and an HEI dist. with ACCEL cap rotor and wires question their origin."
