Airboaters Needed!!!

On February 25, 2006 (that's a Saturday) the US Sportsman's Alliance is sponsoring a gathering of the BoyScouts at the WinnDixie BoyScout Complex in Paisely, FL. This is in Lake County just north of Eustis.

They are wanting around 4 airboaters to volunteer to bring their boats up and discuss different aspects of airboating and the outdoors. You can talk about anything from your boat's characteristics, to hunting and fishing, riding, lake cleanups, club events, demonstating how it sounds, whatever...

There will be 400 to 600 BoyScouts in attendence!!!! So this is a great opportunity to positively influence a large group of future sportsmen and voters!! The groups will consist of approx. 8 kids so it you won't be talking in front of large crowds. This is a speaking presentation only so you don't have to give rides and worry about accidents out on the water.

Great post, Adam .....
My boat won't be running by then, but I'm going to try to show-up for it just to help out if I can. Like BPS said, these kids are our future. They are relying on US to give them the RIGHT information about their heritage as Sportsmen and boaters. Please come if you can.

WELL so much for the best laid plans of mice and men. Stan blew tires on his trailer on sat. I blew tires on sunday. SORRY ADAM I tried to call but nextel was crap. I got hold of swampjet and let him know.

Cntry, it worked out OK anyway ..... four boats were there and the display area that they had for them was pretty small, so more might have been too crowded.. They stayed trailered the whole time, but a lot of kids and their parents got a lot of real good information.

Sorry 'bout the tires. You're gonna have to quit buyin those Chinese recaps. .
