Airboating on the Peace River

Where do most of the poeple that ride on the Peace River put in at? I always see airboats up river and we thought about taking ours up there.

Thanks in advance!

My advice is to ride any where from Nocatee and south. I've put in as far north as Zolfo Springs but trust me....there are too many canoes to navigate around and it just isn't worth the aggravation. Lots and lots of canoes and most of them hate airboats.

I put in at Nocatee ramp and go south, cruise around lettuce lake and back. Be carefull, water is very low and there's a few stumps around.

Not my conversation, but I want to complement yall for steering clear of the canoeists. I do a lot of canoeing when I'm home as well as airboating. I use the canoe for general geologic stuff and treasure hunting. Fortunately I use a Gheenoe and airboat wakes don't bother me, but a regular canoe is way tipsy for wakes.

Thanks again, yall make us all look good when ya avoid intentional confrontations. :D

Oh, I agree with you. But it isn't just with the canoes. There should be common courtesy on the water for anyone. When we ride around a bend that is beachy and people are in the water, we always slow down for them. I hate it when someone's wake is so big that it beaches your boat even more and you have to go chasing after whatever is floating away because of the wake.

Thanks again everyone to the replies to my post. We will definitly be putting in at Nocatee again.

Thanks for reminding of the great riding Deuce. I may have to plan a trip down the Peace in the near future.
