Airboats needed on Saturday Feb. 19 - Polk Cty., Lake Tiger

Airboaters, Please Help,

This is a request for you to volunteer your personal efforts and airboat to help a group of disabled outdoor enthusiasts.

Kissimmee River Valley Sportsman's Association is cooperating with others to introduce physically disabled outdoor enthusiasts to the airboating experience on Saturday, February 19, 2005. The group is known as Wheeling Sportsmen.

Volunteer airboats are needed for this effort. Please try to arrange your schedule to help. KRVSA needs about 30 volunteer boats.

Participants will be placed into your boats and it is not necessary to be able to accommodate a wheelchair on your front deck to participate. Running will be from the Lions Club Camp on Lake Tiger just north of Hwy. 60 and east of Lake Wales. Run waters will be protected and shallow. Special event insurance will protect all volunteers.
