CSI-Miami Airing Feb 21st at 9:30pm on CBS, 2 Pro Stroker 148's boats by Airboat Pro's. Show title "Nothing to Loose" Escaping from prison & killing someone in the everglades steals an airboat and law enforcement gives chase in their boat. CSI is always a cool show, but this one should be extra special!!

Hey thanks Big Daddy---That's a little past my bedtime;but, I'll have to make an exception and watch. I've already marked it on the calender.
Thanks,
Harvey

Thanks again Big Daddy for letting us know about the movie with airboats tonight an 9:30 on CBS. Y'all don't forget to watch.

Happy Trails

:( :( Just like the show, coverage of the airboats was LAME! :( :(
Southern Airboat is much more interesting.

Watched the show and correct me if I'm wrong. I think I observed the bad guy steering with his right hand and shooting with his left, then later in the chase visa versa. How cool, an Airboat with interchangeable steering!

Believe it or not I have seen several boats with interchangable steering here in north FL. But they are usally on boats with two person seats at the drivers station where you can drive from either side.

Hell I was yelling at the TV telling the bad guy to run dry thru the fire now that would have made a good chase scene and he might have got away. You would be amazed at how much work goes into a little scene like that. Remember the old Steve Martin movie called Parenthood. They filmed the 5 minute drag racing scene at Orlando Speed World it took day’s to shoot. Some of my buddies made 6 or 9 burnouts and ½ a dozen passes and were only in the movie for a second a good friend of mine beat the tar out of his 8sec Duster doing nasty wheel stands and they only used a 2 second part of a wheel stand.

Agreed with Big Boom! Kinda short and lame coverage to stay awake so late for.
Stilll good to see the coverage!

Jeff

Yea, it was a fairly short chase.

Waterthunder - I was thinking the same thing. Would have been a good ending.

But you would need lots of momentum to get through it. Running close fires and sucking in smoke with very little oxygen does seem to make a fine running motor sputter.
