The Magnaflows are great mufflers but what is your criteria? Do you just want something to "get by", or is size a major concern, or are you trying to reduce sound? The RACE muffs will reduce slightly if put at the tail end of the flex, work better if up at headers. BUT, consider the cost. The race muffs are way more expensive than the Magnaflow Performance muffs. The perfomance muffs are some of the best on the market for sound reduction, performance, cost.

Reducing sound with the most compact design makes sense for some people as long as it is effective and passes the state requirement. You will either be compliant or not. I have an idea of what getting by is but everyone has their opinion on what setup to use. I will base my decision on what is compliant and works best with my setup. Whatever I go with will be quiet....now if I can just muffle that d#$% gearbox at idle!!
