Alachua County Sheriff will enforce County Noise Ordinance

The Alachua County Sheriffs Office will begin enforcing the state law that require all motorized water craft to have mufflers and we will be enforcing the County Noise Ordinance that prohibit vessels and vehicles that exceed 90 decibels at 50ft. or more.

This sucks!!!

Was with a Southern airboat member today and we measured a couple of boats...Don't ever see my boat reaching that goal. Oh yeah, I already have mufflers!

Wonder if we all pitch in and buy the sheriff a "one way" ticket to somewhere else but here in Florida!!

I say bring the news crews to his house next time the weedeater or leaf blower are fired up and ask why its legal to use these on the lake and point out how his yard has destroyed the natural landscape and see what he has to say on the sunday evening news
