Alberto ....

Olf Art

Silent Prop
R. I. P.
It is now Tropical Storm Alberto, and it's not expected to strengthen much over the next couple of days. Hopefully that will be the case and the system
will bring many of us some much needed relief from our drought.

Ditto. We got a sprinkle today but we need alot more than that. Bring it on. Later

Well, I guess it was too good to last. Hurricane warnings are now posted for the upper Gulf coast of Florida.
Alberto now has sustained winds in the vicinity of 70 mph.

Its not over yet. Its got trees down over here and the law and power company is out there with the chainsaws trying to move it in all this down pour and wind. Boy its nasty out there. We had a tornado touch down about 12 miles down the road, but its gone back up right now, thank god. Later, Cajun

You're right, Cajun. It's only 4 mph (about as fast as a man walks) from being called a hurricane. We need the water, but we don't need the wind.
