Another 4.3 V6 Question

I currently have a 4.3 that was running decent until this past weekend . I think I lost a cylinder but I have not taken any thing apart yet to determine what the problem is. Question: If I am in for a rebuild, what parts should I seek to make the engine more substantial than OE HP. What brand /type pistons. shaft, head work,etc. The most bang for my buck. Is 275 - 300 HP wishfull thinking or reasonable?

300 HP from a 4.3 is not hard at all! Head work the right cam and intake!

Thanks WT. What is the right cam and intake when I go shopping for them. I wish I new more about these things. 13'6" Fiberglass hull, 72" two blade Terminator, 1.77 to 1 gear.
